Dayt helps people discover one another and make plans in the real world. This policy explains what information Dayt collects, why it is used, who receives it, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
We collect account details such as your email address and authentication identifiers; profile details such as your name, photo, biography, interests, intentions and approximate area; daily check-ins; events, communities, messages, reports and other content you choose to create; booking and transaction references; notification preferences; and identity-verification status when you apply to organise public events.
Information collected through use
Dayt may process device and network information needed to operate, secure and diagnose the service, push-notification tokens, feature interactions, and approximate location when you choose to provide or permit it. Dayt does not need your precise location for an ordinary public profile and does not publish precise location from a daily check-in.
How we use information
We use information to provide authentication, profiles, discovery, matching, plans, communities, messaging, events, bookings and notifications; prevent abuse; investigate reports; maintain safety; provide support; meet legal obligations; and improve reliability and relevance.
Service providers and sharing
Information is processed by suppliers that help Dayt operate, including Supabase for authentication, database, storage and server functions; Apple for Sign in with Apple and push notifications; Stripe for eligible payments, payouts and identity-verification flows currently used by the service; and booking providers such as Mindbody or Momence when you use an enabled provider flow. We share only the information needed for that service. We do not sell personal information.
Visibility and control
Your public profile, public check-ins, plans, communities or events may be visible to other Dayt members according to the relevant settings. Messages and safety reports are not public. You can edit profile information, remove a current check-in, block members, control notifications, and initiate full account deletion inside the app.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to operate Dayt, resolve safety issues, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations. Daily check-ins expire from active discovery after 24 hours. When you delete your account, Dayt deletes or de-identifies associated personal data except records we must retain for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute or financial-record obligations.
Your choices
You may deny camera, photo, location or notification access and continue using parts of Dayt that do not need that permission. You can revoke permissions in iPhone Settings. You can delete your account from You → Account → Delete account.
